Special Olympics & Community Walks

Participants from ARC-Baldwin County compete in multiple Special Olympics sports. Currently, we have competitors in bowling, bocce, power lifting, and Track and Field. In the past, we participated in sailing, flag football, and basketball. Every year, we have competitors qualify for the Alabama State Games which are held at Troy University every May.
In the past, we have had competitors compete in both the USA Games (most recently 2014 in New Jersey, 2018 in Seattle, Washington, and 2022 in Orlando) and World Summer Games (2011 in Athens, Greece and 2015 in Los Angeles). The next USA Games is in Minnesota in 2026.
